On November 25th, 2005, about 8:35 pm local time, Randall "Duke" Cunningham -- I'm absolutely positive it was him -- tried to kill my wife and I while committing suicide, by smashing the car he was driving (a Chevy Tracker) at very high speed into the one I was driving (a Honda Passport). He almost succeeded, but because I kept my speed down until the very end, and then dashed out of the way faster than he could follow, he did not.
The cop took 45 minutes to arrive and refused to interview witnesses, etc.. Something was fishy from the start.
I did not recognize Cunningham when he blew by us that night, but I recognized him a few days later when he resigned from Congress and confessed to bribery (but NOT to attempted murder).
I believe that RIGHT NOW the investigations which are going on regarding the firing of U.S. Attorney Carol Lam could be a DIRECT RESULT of that night. The whole slew of U.S. Attorney firings may be nothing more than a COVER-UP by the administration to stop Carol Lam's investigation into my case, an investigation I asked for in writing long ago, and never heard back about.
I don't know the details, but the great crime that was committed was, as usual, not the double-murder-suicide attempt, which was bad enough, and not even the initial, local police cover-up, which was worse. No: The great crime that was committed was the violation of my civil liberties, such that I cannot get ANY official statement about what really happened that night.
Justice delayed *IS* justice denied. Everything else can go your way. You can have willing witnesses, loads of physical evidence, a positive identification of the assailant, and a ton of circumstantial evidence. You might even have several related confessions (I suspect these exist too, by now, although not the one I really care about).
But all that won't get you justice in any sort of hurry.
You can EVEN have the biggest, and best, team of lawyers EVER ASSEMBLED helping you -- I believe I have that too; they are called CONGRESS.
Yet still, justice delayed IS justice denied. Court cases can be dragged out for YEARS while participants die, move, forget, or change their stories for love, money, or intimidation. And cars get repaired, the damage hidden.
Truth becomes harder and harder to find.
The good news is that justice appears to be heading my way like a freight train.
But the bad news is that, like a freight train, justice is slow in coming. Excruciatingly so.
Last night, I was "forced" to watch five hours of grueling Congressional testimony, while in the meantime, my local cable channel went on the fritz for a half hour, just when I was going to get to see the locally-produced t.v. show that saved my life by teaching me how to avoid a suicidal driver intent on having a head-on collision. COME ON.
I'm convinced that Alberto Gonzalez stands in the way of the truth AND IS HELPING TO CENSOR ME. I hope Congress (my fine team of lawyers, the finest, and the most bipartisan, team ever assembled) won't wait until mid-April to hear from him. I hope he resigns immediately and is quickly called to testify (under oath).
